Hygi Masters has taken an important step in the further development of its position among the largest Belgian pest control companies. This week the division of the Multi Masters Group received the European CEPA certificate. As the third company in Belgium.
On 4 November 2020 Hygi Masters received a visit from an auditor of the certification agency DQS. He came to check whether the pest management companies’ management system complies with the European standard EN 16636:2015. This standard was developed to professionalise the European pest control sector and to protect customers, public health and the environment.
During the audit, the DQS auditor subjected both theory and practice to a thorough inspection. “The entire process was turned inside out,” says manager Patrick Houtmeyers. “How we deal with a report of pests, how we contact the client, how we evaluate the situation, how we organise the approach, how we report on our activities, how we follow up the situation, which trainings our employees follow, which types of pesticides we use, our risk analyses,… The car of one of our technicians was also examined in detail. The auditor asked him questions about each part of his equipment. He did not miss a single detail.”
Multidesk
Hygi Masters passed with flying colours. Among other things, the communication and follow-up system of the Multi Masters Group, to which Hygi Masters belongs, scored excellently. DQS describes it as follows: “One of the strengths is the use of Multidesk for documenting pest control programmes. Multidesk is a perfect programme for the registration and consultation of all visits.” The emphasis Hygi Masters places on the training of its pest controllers was also appreciated by the auditor.
