For many companies, 2020 was the year of corona, doom and gloom, temporary unemployment and quarantine. But there are exceptions. Mobility Masters is one of them. The division of the Multi Masters Group is continuing along the lines of recent years. No fewer than 40 employees have just been given permanent contracts. Mobility Masters has hired them for the cleaning of vehicles. “This proves that, despite the difficult circumstances, we have not given up. On the contrary,” says Managing Director Philip Paelinck.
Mobility Masters specialises in cleaning all types of vehicles. The Belgian market leader can present impressive figures for 2020:
- 1,250,000 train carriages cleaned
- 150,000 m2 of graffiti removed
- 40,000 aircraft cleaned
- 10,000 buses and trams cleaned
As in previous years, Mobility Masters also experienced remarkable growth in the corona year 2020. “In March, the country came to an almost complete standstill due to the first corona wave. However, these were busy times for Mobility Masters. Just before the lockdown, we won a major project,” says Philip Paelinck. “After the trains in Flanders we were also allowed to clean the trains in Wallonia.”
Flexibility
The new project means new, substantial growth for Mobility Masters. No fewer than 40 new mobility masters have just been given a permanent contract. “Since the start-up of the new project they have proven that we can count on their flexibility and commitment. That’s why we converted their temporary contract into a permanent one.”
From 0 to 596 employees in six years
The Multi Masters Group division, which is barely six years old, now has 596 employees. So it is no surprise that Mobility Masters recently found a nomination for the Trends Gazellen 2021 in the mailbox. Every year the economic magazine Trends rewards the fastest growing companies.
