Multi Masters Group and CSR: read the new report here

Samsic, the French parent company of Multi Masters Group, has just published its new CSR report. As usual, some nice things have been achieved and ambitious but realistic objectives are put forward.

“Our CSR policy inspires us to innovate and to keep reinventing ourselves.”
(Thierry Geffroy – President Samsic)

Samsic Planet 2030

The CSR report opens with interviews with President Thierry Geffroy and CSR Director Stéphanie Delamarre. They discuss the consequences of the corona pandemic and the importance of a well thought-out CSR policy. Then they proudly present the ‘Samsic Planet 2030‘ plan. In this plan, in which Multi Masters Group of course participates, everything revolves around 4 CSR commitments:

  • Environmentally friendly service provision
  • Reduce our CO2 emissions
  • Promote circular economy
  • Support biodiversity

Concrete CSR objectives

Each of these commitments has concrete objectives that will be achieved by 2030, hence the name of the plan. Many actions have already been started. Numerous examples are explained in the CSR report. They often involve innovations that make the services greener, more ergonomic and more efficient. Whether it is the vacuuming of an office building, the cleaning of a nuclear power plant or the various services at airports around the world, Samsic and its departments are looking for improvements everywhere.

Facility services are ideal for the (re)integration of people from disadvantaged groups. Samsic and all its departments are strongly committed to this. It is succeeding nicely, which is proven, among other things, by the Inclusive Enterprise Reference Certificate that our cleaning division Cleaning Masters has received in recent years. Samsic’s CSR report pays extensive attention to the theme of ‘inclusion’.

Support for good causes

Samsic gets the most media attention through its sponsorship of the professional cycling team Arkéa – Samsic and the professional football club Stade Rennais. But it is mainly the support for numerous good causes that makes the difference.

Multi Masters Group is very proud that two of our projects are mentioned in Samsic‘s CSR report. On the one hand there is our partnership with River Cleanup, on the other hand our support of the non-profit organisation Terre au Féminin.

Samsic and CSR in figures

In addition to interesting articles, the CSR report also contains a lot of figures. The number of employees, the ratio of men to women, the number of countries where Samsic is active, the percentage of eco-labelled cleaning products, the number of hours of training, the percentage of disabled employees,… it is all there.
