Samsic, the French parent company of Multi Masters Group, has presented its Sustainability Report 2024. In this report, you will read all about Samsic’s sustainable objectives, initiatives and results. Multi Masters Group actively contributes to this every day with its own initiatives and projects.
Samsic’s CSR objectives
Samsic’s CSR policy aims to contribute to the achievement of 10 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Good health and well-being (SDG 3)
- Quality education (SDG 4)
- Gender equality (SDG 5)
- Decent work and economic growth (SDG 8)
- Industrie, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9)
- Reduced inequalities (SDG 10)
- Sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11)
- Responsible consumption and production (SDG 12)
- Climate action (SDG 13)
- Life on land (SDG 15)
13 commitments and 4 pillars
To achieve these goals, we at Multi Masters Group work with 4 pillars and 13 concrete commitments:
1. Providing a responsible and innovative service
We keep listening to our customers. Through the digital platform Multidesk, we offer transparency and build sustainable partnerships together based on trust and our core values.
2. Empowering our human resources and developing our talents
We invest heavily in our employees. Think about promoting equal opportunities and diversity, but also training through our MM-Academy. Safety, health and well-being at work receive full attention.
3. Helping protect our environment
We actively reduce our ecological footprint. We do this by using sustainable products and processes, using less energy and reducing waste.
4. Developing a supportive and sustainable society
We also engage outside the company. For instance, we organised a major litter campaign through River Cleanup and support other projects, such as our patronage of the dorcas gazelles at ZOO Planckendael.
Our sustainable results in 2024
The Sustainability Report 2024 contains results from across the Samsic Group, including the Belgian operations of Multi Masters Group. Some achievements we are proud of:
Eco-score of Boma
Together with our regular supplier Boma (cleaning products, materials and machines), we have been focusing on sustainability via the Eco-score since last year. Each product gets a score from A+ (very ecological) to E (least ecological). This way, we make conscious choices with minimal impact on the environment.
Clean drinking water through Made Blue
Through Cleaning Masters, we have for years supported the Made Blue Foundation, which provides clean drinking water in developing countries. Thanks to our innovative i-mop, used daily at customers’ premises, we contribute to their projects according to the principle: 1 litre consumed = 1 litre donated. In 2024, we thus donated 778,500 litres of drinking water to projects in Senegal and Ivory Coast.
