The nominees for the Trends Gazelles 2022 are announced. Just like last year Multi Masters Group has two nominations in the province of Antwerp. Mobility Masters is on the list for the second time. For HR company Recrewtment it is the first nomination. With the Trends Gazelles, the economic magazine Trends rewards each year the fastest growing companies.
Once again among the nominees for the Trends Gazelles: Mobility Masters continues to grow
It is not the first time that Mobility Masters has been among the nominees for the Trends Gazelles. Last year, the specialist in public transport cleaning achieved a terrific eighth place in the category ‘Large companies’. “With this new nomination we prove that we keep on growing”, says Philip Paelinck, managing director of Multi Masters Group.
Market leader in Belgium
Since its establishment at the end of 2014, Mobility Masters has rapidly become the market leader in Belgium. The figures (per year) speak for themselves:
- 1,250,000 railway carriages cleaned
- 150,000 m2 of graffiti removed from trains
- 31,920 buses and trams cleaned
- 435,600 buses and trams disinfected
- 30,000 aircraft cleaned
Flexibility
Carrying out the various types of cleaning is only part of the challenge. The tight time frames involved make it extra difficult. Mobility Masters responds with good organisation and flexibility.
“We prepare our employees – we call them our ‘masters’ – as well as possible for their tasks. A thorough training is the basis. We combine theory and practice. And if training-on-the-job is not possible for safety reasons, for example, we use virtual reality techniques.”
Good coordination and smooth communication
No matter how well prepared you are, a small delay of a plane, train, tram or bus can throw the entire work schedule into disarray. “Good communication is then crucial. On the one hand with our clients, and on the other with our masters. Thanks to our digital planning tools this all goes very smoothly and transparently.”

Nominees of the Trends Gazelles are also innovative companies
To be among the Trends Gazelles nominees, it is not enough for a company to grow quickly. The organisers also emphasise the innovative aspect. Mobility Masters also scores well in that respect. Marie-Ange Sicard, Cleaning & Comfort Manager at Thalys, confirms this in an interview that will soon appear in Springbok magazine. “Mobility Masters comes up with suggestions to improve the organisation and quality. That shows their professionalism and expertise.”
Recrewtment is among the Trends Gazelles nominees for the first time
Besides Mobility Masters, Recrewtment is also on the list of nominees for the Trends Gazelles 2022. For our staffing partner it is the first nomination. In a subsequent report, we will pay attention to the steep rise of this innovative HR company.
