Last night, the cream of Antwerp’s business community gathered at iO’s offices in Antwerp. The reason was the presentation of the Trends Gazelles 2025 of the economic magazine Trends. Mobility Masters was among the nominees for the Trends Gazelles for the fourth time in five years. “We are extremely happy that we could be there again. Especially after a period when we did not focus so much on growth but rather on consolidation,” says Philip Paelinck, managing director at the aircraft, train, tram and bus cleaning specialist.
Trends Gazelles 2025
With the Trends Gazelles, Trends rewards each year per province the companies that can present the best growth evolution. To do so, it analyses the balance sheets of the past five financial years and assesses the companies in terms of growth in added value, growth in workforce and growth in cash flow.
Trends describes the nominees as “companies that are an integral part of the economic landscape. They have a positive impact on the business environment in their region. They are powerhouses of innovation and job creation” and “are labelled as inspiring role models for other companies.”
Mobility Masters: happy with 92th place
After an eighth (2021), a second (2022) and another eighth place (2023), Mobility Masters finished in 92th place in the Trends Gazelles 2025. “This time, we were especially happy to be among the nominees. It was a pleasant surprise when we received the invitation,” says Philip Paelinck.
After several years of substantial growth, Mobility Masters mainly aimed for consolidation in the recent period. “We focused on improving our services with our existing customers. The focus was on innovation and employment. For instance, we worked hard to further develop and implement our own planning tool. Our staff – our ‘masters’, as we call them – are all taking innovative training courses at the MM-Academy, Multi Masters Group‘s training centre. This allows us to offer our customers even better quality.”
Impressive figures
It was certainly not a quiet period for Mobility Masters’ cleaning teams. In 2024, they recorded the following achievements:
- 1,707,020 cleaning operations on trains + 9637 on high-speed trains
- 1,098 trams cleaned
- 18,867 buses cleaned
- 30,965 aircraft cleaned
- 206,743 m² of graffiti removed from trains
Thanks to these impressive figures, Mobility Masters is still the market leader in public transport cleaning. “We hope to maintain this position for a long time to come, and if that includes nominations for the Trends Gazelles in the next few years, that will be great.”
