On Saturday September 20, World Cleanup Day 2025 will take place worldwide: the day when millions of people in more than 200 countries come together to fight litter. This year again, Multi Masters Group is actively involved, this time in Ghent on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Last year, a delegation of Multi Masters Group took part in the River Cleanup campaign in Brussels.
Multi Masters Group and River Cleanup: a proven partnership
For several years, Multi Masters Group has been one of the structural partners of River Cleanup, an organization dedicated to cleaning up litter along riverbanks throughout Belgium and far beyond. Our joint actions have already delivered measurable results:
- In 2019, Multi Masters Group, together with River Cleanup, organized its own litter cleanup in Rivierenhof, where our employees and volunteers collected dozens of kilos of waste.
- Every year, our employees take part in River Cleanup’s actions. In recent years, we have been present in Brussels and Antwerp.
- Participation in River Cleanup’s annual 10-minutes Challenge.
- Through innovative projects such as the River Skimmer in Ghent (November 2022) and the Ecobin, waste was efficiently removed from the water.
- With the support of River Cleanup, we have succeeded in reducing the use of single-use plastics in our operations over the past few years.
World Cleanup Day 2025: impact in Ghent
On World Cleanup Day 2025, we will of course be present. On Friday, September 19, a team of Multi Masters Group employees will be present at the Houtdok in Ghent.
