Because of our choice of sustainable cleaning products, Boma is planting trees for the charity Go Forest. In total, our cleaners have already collected 318 trees for a project in Madagascar. This cooperation received an extra sustainable impulse over a year ago with the introduction of the Eco-score. By assigning this score to products, there is clear communication about their sustainability.
The role of the Eco-score
When choosing products and materials, this score plays an important role. Boma offers a transparent assessment of the environmental friendliness of their cleaning products and materials and portrays their impact. Their products are divided into scores, from A+ to E, where A refers to ecological and E to the least environmentally friendly products. Whenever possible, we choose A+ and A products to minimize our environmental footprint.
From sustainable choices to planting trees for charity
But then what is the link to planting trees for charity? Well, for every €1,000 we invest in sustainable products, Boma plants a tree in Madagascar in collaboration with Go Forest.
The results are impressive: since this action was started a few months ago, 318 trees have already been planted on the African island thanks to Multi Masters Group. So we are not only contributing to a cleaner working environment for our customers, but also to a greener world.
