Galloo sees no difference between the approach of Cleaning Masters and Techni Masters:

Moving towards a circular economy

We start this testimonial of Galloo on the cleaning services with a short introduction on the company itself. Giving a new life to old metals from production and demolition waste and discarded consumer goods such as vehicles and electrical devices. That is Galloo’s mission. The organisation with origins in Menen, West Flanders, is one of the leading recycling companies of ferrous and non-ferrous materials in Western Europe.

“Every year, more than one million tonnes of material are collected, recycled and reused in various branches of the circular economy,” says Charlotte Pittery, facility assistant at Galloo. “Our high-tech converting and separation processes allow us to recover precious metals, and to recycle plastics while keeping the environmental impact as low as possible.”

The fact that sustainability is very high on Galloo’s list of priorities is therefore needless to emphasise. The company also seeks that same commitment from its partners. “We know that Cleaning Masters uses ecological cleaning products. But Multi Masters Group is also strongly committed to sustainability in the way it works. To me, this means that there is an agreement in long-term vision between the two partners. And this is partly because Multi Masters Group agrees with our values and standards.”

The right people in the right place

Galloo choosing to partner with Multi Masters Group was for a very obvious reason. “It was in 2017 when Galloo was experiencing a nice expansion. A few branches were added and we were looking for a partner who could handle this extra capacity. In the meantime, we are already sitting with about five branches being cleaned by Cleaning Masters and that could definitely expand in the future.”

“When we grow, Multi Masters Group grows with us. Whenever there is an expansion, the people responsible always manage to put together a cleaning team at short notice. Then we always have the right people in the right place. We appreciate that in the cooperation, that they think along with us and listen when we have questions. That open communication culture is very important to us.”

Transparent budgeting

Charlotte is full of praise for the masters who come across the floor. “Quality is a priority for us. The cleaners have very extensive know-how and knowledge and that is partly due to the various training courses they receive at Multi Masters Group. These ensure that the performance is always so high. Furthermore, every employee comes to work here with pleasure. They always greet our own colleagues warmly and with great respect. In fact, it even feels as if they are ‘one of us’.”

Absences are also monitored well, according to Charlotte. “These are issues you can’t actually prevent. It’s a matter of how you deal with it. If a regular cleaner is absent, it is usually resolved on the same day. Multi Masters Group has sufficient resources to respond to this. The inspection is here weekly, so there is a very close follow-up both to the cleaning team and to us. The communication line is short and we are really understood as customers.”

“And aside from the communication, we are also satisfied with the financial picture. Especially with all the indexations in recent years. Everything is communicated correctly, clearly and on time every year, giving us enough time for feedback. On top of that, we know perfectly what the cleaning costs us per building. That is very transparent. And are some buildings closed for a while because of work and no cleaning is needed? Then that will be included in the budget.”

Regular quality inspections

Something else that strikes Charlotte is the way quality is monitored. “Besides the training that the masters follow, Multi Masters Group works with a very good system to monitor quality: the QMS controls. On that platform, we can monitor everything in an orderly way. This way we can be sure that quality is and remains guaranteed. That all goes very correctly and smoothly.”

Attendance registration via MM-Time, the digital application designed by Multi Masters Group, is also going smoothly. “That way you know perfectly which day there is which occupation, we can track everything easily in it. We also have our own attendance registration at Galloo, with a badge. We ask that of all our partners and Multi Masters Group fits this perfectly into its working method.”

Techni Masters completes the packages

Galloo not only uses our cleaning masters. It also relies on Techni Masters. The latter takes care of the biannual – sometimes slightly more frequent – roof maintenance of the various branches in Menen. “Both divisions are very well matched,” explains Charlotte. “Whether it’s Cleaning Masters or Techni Masters, everything has the same, good structure. The company hangs together, they are not just separate services. It is clear that Multi Masters Group is one big group.”
