Pieter-Jan Vangheluwe (see picture) has been working as a facility assistant at Geldof, a company specialised in metal structures, since 2018. He chose Cleaning Masters, the cleaning division of Multi Masters Group, in 2020 and has been very satisfied with the cooperation ever since. “It was not obvious because we have a strict partner approval process. But I can say that the cooperation with Cleaning Masters goes very smoothly,” he says.
Our cleaning division Cleaning Masters have been working at Geldof since 2020 – in full corona crisis. “Back then, there was a checklist of conditions to stay open as a business. One of those conditions was, of course, hygiene. That’s why I contacted Gayna from Multi Masters Group, who had been prospecting before. We already had a pretty good contact when I called her to ask if she could help us out. Within a few days there was a team from Cleaning Masters at Geldof,” says Pieter-Jan.
Cleaning Masters is now a fixture for cleaning at Geldof
“Currently there are two of them working here: Raina works full-time and is regularly assisted by Sadiya. They mainly clean desks here and they do that between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., even before our employees arrive.”
Our cleaners are present daily and have become a fixture within the metal company. “Even the Cleaning Masters job student has recently started coming in every morning, and during vacations we can always count on the masters. If Raina takes leave, all hours are correctly taken care of, whether or not by a regular cleaning master or job student.”

Always and everywhere
“The cleaning masters are external, so to speak, but you don’t notice this. They are always and everywhere present and that feels right. Our cleaners have really become part of our team,” Pieter-Jan continues. “During the corona crisis I was looking for a company that could relieve me when I was struggling. They did, and everything was always included. There is a supervisor who monitors everything, and if there is a problem, Cleaning Masters fixes it.”
In addition to the offices, Cleaning Masters also cleans the washrooms and refectories in the production area at the Geldof site. “The cleaning ladies then get to work in their ‘full-battle dress,’” laughs Pieter-Jan. “Safety is extremely important to us, which is why they also wear safety helmets, goggles and shoes.”

The effects of the corona crisis weighed heavily on Pieter-Jan’s work. Fortunately, he had come to the right place at Multi Masters Group. “I made one phone call, to someone I had the most confidence in at the time and who I knew could help me. Four years later, I’m still very glad I called Cleaning Masters. Since then, contact with Gayna and the cleaning ladies has always been smooth.
