A facility partner with a large pool of qualified staff can respond quickly in case of unexpected absences, meaning quality doesn’t suffer at any location due to staff sickness or holidays. A partner that invests in well-trained staff delivers consistent work. Moreover, you avoid the hidden costs that come from poor maintenance, complaints, repair work, or constantly changing suppliers. So don’t choose the cheapest option; go for the most reliable one instead.
4. Centralise your administration and invoicing
Multiple suppliers means different invoices, contacts, and contracts. One facility partner with national coverage drastically simplifies administration. Moreover, you don’t have to deal with employment contracts and other personnel matters – you discuss these in advance with your facility partner. So get administrative relief because your time as a facility manager is valuable.
5. Monitor the quality of your facilities
As a facility manager, you cannot possibly monitor all sites yourself. A good partner works with an internal inspection system that guarantees quality, even in the places where you aren’t present.
