Access to clean drinking water should be a universal right, but unfortunately, it is not the case everywhere. The shortage of clean and safe drinking water in developing countries remains a harsh reality. Made Blue Foundation is an organization dedicated to the noble cause of providing “clean water for everyone”. To support this organization, Cleaning Masters has been contributing clean drinking water for several years. For 2023, we are proud to report a generous donation of 612,000 liters! How we did that? By doing what we do best: cleaning.
Hard facts, significant impact
- 771,000,000 people still lack access to clean drinking water.
- An estimated 1,300 people die daily due to contaminated drinking water.

The harsch statistics from the Made Blue Foundation demonstrate that there is still much work to be done to ensure clean drinking water in developing countries. The organization is committed to making a difference by investing in water projects in countries facing severe water scarcity. “This ensures that at least an equivalent amount of clean drinking water becomes available to those who currently lack access to safe water,” says Made Blue.
Made Blue Foundation: A liter for a liter with the i-mop
Since its establishment in 2014, Made Blue Foundation has already provided over 14 billion liters of clean drinking water, thanks to the support of more than 500 ambassadors. One of these ambassadors is Cleaning Masters. For several years, the cleaning division of Multi Masters Group has been actively contributing and collecting clean drinking water for charity.
How do we achieve this? Through our i-mop. The i-mop is a cleaning machine used daily by our cleaning masters to clean our clients’ buildings. Simultaneously, it allows us to collect clean drinking water under the motto ‘a liter for a liter’. For every liter of water consumed by our cleaning teams using the i-mop, we donate a liter of drinking water to a Made Blue Foundation project in a developing country.
Nearly doubled
In 2019, Cleaning Masters donated 171,000 liters of drinking water. By 2022, this had already increased to 318,500 liters, and last year we nearly doubled that amount, reaching a total of 612,000 liters for various projects supported by the organization.
